Could you develop programmes to engage people to participate in sport and overcome barriers?

A development officer is responsible for developing and running programmes to encourage involvement in sport.  For example, increasing participation for specific age groups. These play a key role in promoting the sport and engaging as many people in it as possible. To get involved speak to your local NGB (national governing body) and there maybe opportunities to volunteer your services.  Check out websites and request information.
