Did you know there are over 80 careers available in football?

Everyone knows about coaching and physiotherapy, but are you aware of the other options available and how to access them?

Here's the 2nd in a series of 5 careers that She Kicks looks at courtesy of CareersinFootball.com

2- Strength and conditioning coach

Could you provide physiological development to sports performers?

A strength and conditioning coach is responsible for the fitness and condition of the players.  They play a key role in ensuring performers are at their physical peak for each game. This is more than just making the players run around the pitch and complete some stretches. Watch professional teams warm-up and learn some of the science behind it. If possible shadow a strength and conditioning coach and discover what qualifications are available to help you develop.
