Having just retained the Estonian Super Cup, Flora were in Kent for a 'three match challenge', fielding a squad that contained several full and youth internationals.
After winning their first two games comfortably, Flora found Kent tougher oppositon, even though several players were unavailable due to the County Cup final being played tonight (April 8th).
The first half saw some good football being spread liberally over the pitch by both teams, resulting in chances at both ends but finished with Kent going in at half-time leading 1-0, thanks to a Jenny Newman goal after 30 minutes.
The second half followed much the same pattern as the first, with each team having periods where they dominated play. Kent had the chance to kill the game off with 10 minutes to go but Kristina Manktelow saw her effort narrowly miss the target after outpacing the Flora defence but Kent saw the game out to record their second win in succession.
Kent Squad: Kelly Cooper, Megen Lynch, Beth Richardson, Amy Russ, Louise Duffy, Tracey Duxbury, Sarah White, Robyn McEvoy, Katie Hardaker, Kristina Manktelow, Jenny Newman, Stacey McConville.
