Southampton Saints Girls Youth and Poole Town Wessex will both travel early to Alton Town FC for the U14s final ready for kick off at 11am.
Peter Horne; Manager of Southampton Saints Girls Youth said: "I never expected that we would get to the final! We have only played a number of matches since forming as a team; we beat Liss Athletic in the Quarter Final and defeated Warsash Wasps in the Semi Final. Getting to the Final is a great achievement and the girls are really excited about it."
Rob Boreham manages the opposition; Poole Town Wessex Girls, and is proud of the squad and the attitude they have maintained throughout the competition. He said “We are very excited about a new challenge and a great match. We have a lot of respect for the opposition and the fact that they too have done well to reach this stage.
"Both teams are very strong in their respective leagues and will be confident that they can lift the Hampshire Cup.”
Southampton Saints Girls Youth also have a team competing in the Girls U16s final, kicking off at the same venue at 2.00pm. Here, they will face AFC Dynamo Youth, who have not conceded a goal so far in the competition.
Entry is just £3 per adult and £1 per U16 or OAP. Students will also be charged £1 on production of a valid NUS card.
