Tuesday, 9th March, 2010
5:00am – awake, dressed and ready to go. Bags are packed and off we set to the training ground. Arrived at training ground 20 minutes later, to the welcoming site of Jayne Ludlow looking her best, as always: www.tired.com

7.00am – Arrived at Heathrow airport, checked in, had something to eat then off we set for
Dusseldolf.
12.30pm – Arrived at hotel. Dropped bags off and straight into lunch with the team. Had a little
nap before training, which was well needed! Were woken up by Corinne [Yorston] (pictured below, without gaping wound) dropping her glass training bottle - who brings a glass water bottle to training by the way?! - on the corridor floor, resulting in her slicing her ankle open, which was gushing with blood.
Had a quick meeting, before training, to run through tactics on how we are going to play.
4.00pm – Arrived at stadium, but not a lot of grass on the pitch, and it wasn’t very wide either.
Shock! Ludlow was the first to stack it, after giving out abuse on who it was going to be. Did quick blow out (possession game) and moved onto a run through of the tactics, live on the pitch.
7.30pm – Went down for dinner. Poor [Lauren] Bruton ended up having a piece of steak which appeared to still have a heartbeat!
8.30pm – Chilling out with a few of the girls, in one of the rooms. Resting up and thinking about
the game tomorrow. All the girls are looking forward to the game, just want to go out and play now.
