SOUTHERN FINAL
Gillingham 1-0 Havant & Waterlooville

Gillingham retained their Premier League status with a 1-0 victory over Havant at Cheshunt FC, while Newcastle United tumble out of the league at Farsley, replaced by Rotherham United.

Danni Farmer scored midway through the second half from 30 yards to see Gillingham compete for a second season in the Premier League, as South West Combination runners-up Havant & Waterlooville miss out. Farmer also hit the post from a free-kick and Lauren Phillips effort from the rebound was cleared off the line. Havant almost levelled 4 minutes from time but Katie Duffy denied Kaylee Schumann-Edwards and 2 minutes later the Hawks had Charley Wilson sent-off for a second bookable offence.

Beth Smith gave Rotherham the lead in the first 10 minutes, with full-back Katie Davison hitting the second after the break to seal the Millers return to the Northern Division after two seasons away, while the Magpies depart following a five-year spell at this level.
