Irish U-17s Foil Ferns

The Republic of Ireland completed their warm-up for the U-17 World Cup Finals, with a 2-1 win over New Zealand.

Evie Millynn put the Young Football Ferns of New Zealand ahead in the 25th minute in Miami.

Siobhan Killeen equalised for the Republic of Ireland after 37 minutes and Rebecca Kearney hit the winner in the 86th minute.

The Irish start their FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup Finals group fixtures on Monday in Trinidad & Tobago, when they take on Brazil.
