The BUCS team of students representing Great Britain, won their first ever Futsal match at the World University Championships, by an impressive 10-1 against hosts Serbia. They had lost to Russia, 5-0 in the opening game, on Monday.
Goals in the game came from Vicky Jones (2), Grace McCatty (2), Kelly Jones, Sophie Walton, Sophie Perry and Lizzie Edwards.
The team is made up of players from a range of Super League and FAWPL clubs (four players are already England U23 internationals).
