Ipswich Town Take Suffolk Cup

High fives for Ipswich Town, as they beat Lowestoft Town in the Home Store UK Suffolk FA Cup Final at Colchester United FC.

Ipswich Town had edged Lowestoft Town 3-2 in both their Premier League meetings this season and were soon set on their way to a more convincing scoreline, as Amy Howlett netted in the 6th minute.

Hollie Clement was denied by the bar but Lindsay Cooper did double the lead by half-time.

It was 3-0 through Sophie Welton on 54 minutes, with Lowestoft then coming close to a goal back but for the crossbar.

Natasha Thomas made quite sure of victory by getting Ipswich's fourth with 20 minutes left and then Zoe Cossey added the fifth.
