Bachmann Bags Quarter-Finals Award

Chelsea's Ramona Bachmann has been named Player of the Round in the quarter-finals of the SSE Women’s FA Cup.

The Swiss player scored twice in the 5-1 win over Sunderland which sent the team through to this Monday’s semi-final away against Birmingham.

Captain Katie Chapman was full of praise for Bachmann’s two-goal contribution.

‘We haven’t seen the best of her yet, which is frightening,’ said the skipper of a player who has netted three times in her first two appearances for the club.

‘She’s an unbelievable player, she’s really fast and she’s definitely going to get us goals. There’s more to come from her.'

Chelsea TV will be showing Monday’s semi-final live from Soilhull Moors FC at 2pm.

At the same time, Manchester City take on Liverpool in the other semi-final at the Academy Stadium.
