4. Favoured Position (and have you always played there)? I play on the right wing but do get asked to play in various other positions as well, which I enjoy and helps me have a good understanding of the game!
5. Team Supporter/Fave player? I support Man.Utd and my favourite player would have to be Ronaldo who plays for Real Madrid.
6. Occupation/or what you are studying? I am in yr8 so I am studying a wide range of subjects, from Science to Drama.
7. Are there other footballers in your family? My brother and 2 cousins play for local teams in Derby. And my grandad’s claim to fame is that he used to play for Wantage Town…. Who are they??
8. Favourite game you have played in (and why)? I enjoy every game so it’s hard for me to pick a favourite but if I had to choose, it would be when we played against Aston Villa and I scored a very rare goal!
9. Your best attribute as a player? My pace down the wing and my commitment and attitude towards every game and I produce deadly slide tackles!!!!
10. What are your ambitions in football? I want to play to the highest level possible in Womens Football.
11. Who has been the biggest influence in or on your footballing career? My grandad is always there for me, always supporting me and always teaching me new tricks and telling me that anything is possible.
12. What is the best thing about playing for your team? I enjoy everything about my team, it has a great atmosphere and I am friends with all the players and my coaches Rob and Saleem aren’t bad either…J
13. If you got to design your team’s kit, what would it look like? It would be light blue and have large lettering on the front saying… Respect Portia!!!!
14. Do you listen to music to get you motivated, or while you train – if so, what tracks? Not really but if it counts I listen to Ram fm on the way to training.
15. Who, that plays for your team, should we know more about and why? ‘C’, she’s a great defender and rarely lets a player past her. She is also fun and makes the team a whole lot louder!!
