We think that you are already lining up a career in the media for after you finish playing football because we are always seeing video of you interviewing your Breakers teammates and obviously we are avid readers of your blog. Do you enjoy the media side of football?
First of all, thank you for taking time to read the blog. I know it's about time I wrote a new one, ha. But yes, I do love the media side of football. I like to laugh and have fun and this is what I try and get across when I do interviews with other teammates too. Maybe I should be getting in touch with Gabby Logan to see if she can give me some tips on my interviewing skills or if she has a part time job going for me, ha.
How do you cope with being away from your home and family for so long?
It is really hard, but I spend a lot of time on Skype with my family and friends. Skype is amazing!!!
Are there any things in particular (apart from family) that you miss from the UK?
Do my dogs count? Ha. No I miss my friends, I really miss the food too. A lot of the American food is burgers and club sandwhiches and pizza! The food in the supermarket is so expensive, it is cheaper to eat out in America than it is to eat in! I like too cook a lot so it sucks sometimes.
Which do you think are the best teams and players in the league?
The best team would have to be FC Gold Pride. Not just because they have Marta on their team, but their whole attacking line is stacked with great players. No matter what, you know you are in for a tough 90 minutes when you play them. Excluding Marta they have Christine Sinclair from Canada, Camile Abily from France and thay have Shannon Box who plays for the U.S. national team. Stop one and another one will pop up and score a goal.

What are the good things about living in the USA and specifically Boston?
I really love Boston, it is such a great city, there is so much to do. I have loved going to all the different sporting games they have. Like going to see the Red Sox play (baseball), or an ice hockey game (Boston Bruins). I have to admit though going to watch the New England revolution play is not the same as when I go and watch Arsenal play, ha. There is always stuff going on along the Charles River and there are some cool 'hang out' spots if you want to just chill out. I like the fact that in America people just want to have fun and live life to the full and this rubs off on you.
What is a typical day for you 1) when you are training and 2) when you are playing a match?
Training day:
Wake up around 8ish, have breakfast and leave for training at 9. Get to the locker room, crank the music on, get changed into our training stuff, be out on the field by 9.50, 10 o'clock start.
Most of the time I will be out on the field by 9.30 working on crossing/left foot stuff or joining in with the keepers when they need us for shooting. 11.30 training will come to an end. Sometimes we will have meetings, team play etc. or leadership meeting, where the main captains on the team will talk with the manager about concerns or thoughts and feelings of the team. By 12.30 /1pm I will be showered and ready to either go to our weights session (once a week) or go hang out, get lunch etc. with the girls. Most of the time we will have appearances to do also, but this is on a rotation system operated by the club.
Game day:
Chill out and kill time most of the day (this is the worst part about game day). Arrive at the locker room 1 1/2hrs before KO. Our team likes to dance, so the music will be loud and most of the team will be dancing, singing and just being plain stupid. Most of the time we are trying to teach Kristine Lilly the latest dance moves. Tony [DiCicco, the Breaker's Head Coach] will come in and go over stuff he wants from us in the game, then we go out to warm up. Back in, get our last bits sorted i.e shirts/shin pads on.... more music.... then GAME TIME!
